Yo La Tengo

Yo La Tengo is made up of Ira Kaplan, Georgia Hubley, and James McNew. Since formed in 1984, they have put out more than ten studio albums and have cultivated a reputation as forefathers of the alternative rock genre. I mean, their album I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One is perhaps the standard by which other bands have to measure.
