Chip Pope
Chip Pope has come a long way from Austin Stories. Not that Austin Stories isn’t great, but it’s quite different than writing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Or writing with Mike Judge on his series The Goode Family. Or making it to the semi-finals on Last Comic Standing. Or being close personal friends with British new wave singer R.O. Manse. Yep, he’s come a long way!

Actor, writer, and Howard’s creative partner Chip Pope joins in on this week’s Who Charted! Chip talks living on less and the perks of having a hacker while helping count down the Top 5 Songs on iTunes. Plus, we hear the most interesting thing about Christina Aguilera’s last song plus a full J-Lo assessment before the gang counts down their Hot Picks.

This week’s guest is one of the most talented actors, hilarious storytellers, and impressive clairvoyants we’ve ever had on the calming shores. Stephen Tobolowsky of Groundhog Day fame gives the Henderson Nation insight into his semi-sports related infirmity (by name only), and work-out advice courtesy of his father. Keeping in the theme of remarkable talents, we close the show up with new wave legend R.O. Manse and his attempt at a stadium rock hit. Stir it all up with some biting-and-punching news from the world of sports and you’ve got yourself a great Sklarbro Country!

Fan favorite (well, at least this fan’s favorite) Ben Schwartz makes his first appearance, and we’re lucky he and Chip Pope were there. You see, public television host Huell Howser came in James Adomian’s stead and boy did he have a lot of questions! Chip and Ben kept him informed, but confusion ensued when Chip left to get his friend R.O. Manse. Don’t miss the premiere of Do They Know It’s Christmas!

While the death of Michael Jackson put a damper on the comedy community, Scott Aukerman bravely decided to do his show anyways, if nothing else than to put a smiling face on all the grievers and mourners out there. I’m pretty sure he wasn’t expecting a visit from the ghost of Michael Jackson himself. To round out the table (if that’s an expression) Scott has topical comedy genius Neil Hamburger and friend of Michael Jackson’s, R.O. Manse join in to voice their condolences. Dax Shepard co-hosts this beautiful tribute to a lost legend.
