Singer-songwriter Langhorne Slim joins Matt Besser, Jon Gabrus, Drew Tarver and Dan Lippert for a music episode of improv4humans. Langhorne’s songs inspire scenes about an actor without sports knowledge who auditions for a Gatorade commercial and a boy with a faulty birth who remains attached to his mother’s vagina for life. Later, a stock broker hesitates to conform to his bloodthirsty co-workers. Sign up for Seeso.com to watch Besser’s stand-up special “Besser Breaks the Record” and “The UCB Show,” which were filmed live in UCBLA. Check out Matt, Drew and Dan in Besser’s short film “Arkippiana” on the go90 app.

Singer-songwriter Langhorne Slim and Matt Besser of improv4humans make their way to Sklarbro County! Langhorne tells us about what it was like getting laughs before his sets opening up for Eugene Mirman on tour and plays songs off his new album The Spirit Moves. Also, Matt talks about his new stand-up special “Besser Breaks The Record” (available to watch on www.seeso.com), the first improv show he saw which had a cast that included Chris Farley, and Making a Murderer (there will be spoilers!). As always Daniel Van Kirk brings us crazy stories that include an Indiana woman charged in urine tossing and much more. Later, prosecuting attorney Ken Kratz of Making a Murderer stops by to defend The Martian as a comedy.

We begin the second year of Sklarbro Country with the most relevant and important topic concerning sports: Which players should and shouldn’t be made into bobbleheads? It’s an important issue and thankfully we have Paul Scheer on the show to help us figure it out. In addition to discussing Human Giant and The League, we get to the bottom of the phenomenon of homeless joke theft and Paul uses his knowledge of MTV to help us understand Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari’s relationship. Also in the studio is Kevin Seccia who reads a passage from his hilarious new book Punching Tom Hanks. Music is courtesy of Langhorne Slim & The Law who not only play beautifully, but offer up their own opinions on Deputy Butterbean. San Francisco fans, don’t forget to pick up tickets to see The Sklar Brothers this weekend at the Punch Line Comedy Club!
