They break down this tale of a workaholic lawyer sent to appraise a small town inn, only to find out the inn’s haunted by a very sexy ghost. Plus, Paul shares his real-life paranormal encounter. Paul Scheer [00:00:27] Hello, people of Earth and welcome to How Did This Get Made? I am Paul Scheer, and this is a very special holiday edition of How Did This Get Made? We saw the Hallmark classic, The Spirit of Christmas, which is about a workaholic lawyer who is sent to appraise an inn in a very small town, only to find it’s haunted by a very sexy ghost. Or is he? And is this person maybe the love of her life? Yeah. This movie is weird. And here to break it down is my co-host, Mr. Jason Mantzoukas. How are you, Jason?
Jason Mantzoukas [00:00:57] I’m good. Ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas, Paul.
Paul Scheer [00:01:03] We are so excited to get the team back together for a holiday special because we do have a very special guest. But we also have somebody. She’s my other co-host, but she’s currently serving jury duty right now. June, are you there?
June Diane Raphael [00:01:17] (Whispering) Hi.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:01:17] Oh, wait.
Paul Scheer [00:01:19] Please tell me. All right. So we–.
Jessica Sinclair [00:01:24] No.

June Diane Raphael [00:01:39] (Whispering) I’m honestly staring at a sign that says the use of cellphones during jury duty is prohibited.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:01:47] So this bears a little bit of explanation. June is currently serving jury duty.
Paul Scheer [00:01:53] Yes.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:01:55] And is unable to be with us, but is calling in on the whisper phone.
Paul Scheer [00:02:00] Yes. She is going to be listening in and texting.
Jessica Sinclair [00:02:05] Legitimately like a ghost.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:02:08] This pod is haunted.
Paul Scheer [00:02:10] And she will be texting in her thoughts based on what we’re saying. So I’m going to be watching June’s text here as she’s as she is joining us from a jury room in downtown Los Angeles doing her civic duty during this holiday season. But we have a very special guest in studio. You know what? No trash can fires. But some fires are in this movie. Please welcome a How Did This Get Made, all star. How Did This Get Made favorite, Jessica Sinclair. How are you, Jessica?
Jessica Sinclair [00:02:39] Thank you so much. And you know, if June had to be a ghost, I feel like I am a good living representation and vice versa. Does that makes sense?
Jason Mantzoukas [00:02:49] You would like to give your body to June to possess.
Jessica Sinclair [00:02:52] That’s right.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:02:53] Is this your way of just trying to sleep with Paul?
Jessica Sinclair [00:02:55] Yes. And if somebody is listening, who wants to write that up as a screenplay. Let’s do it.

Jason Mantzoukas [00:03:19] Lily Taylor dies and is in the body of her daughter. And as Lily Taylor, his wife, she keeps trying to, in the daughter’s body, sleep with him.
Jessica Sinclair [00:03:25] No! That would not be made now.
Paul Scheer [00:03:28] By the way, it was only made like three years.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:03:31] It was very recent.
Jessica Sinclair [00:03:32] Dark. Not interested.
Paul Scheer [00:03:34] We need to get you and June to watch that movie.
Jessica Sinclair [00:03:36] No thank you.
Paul Scheer [00:03:40] This movie has been one that people were very excited that we were going to watch.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:03:43] Why? Why would they be excited?
Jessica Sinclair [00:03:45] I was excited.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:03:46] Oh, were you?
Jessica Sinclair [00:03:47] Because I like some of these movies. And I thought, finally, I’m going to be paid back for all the shit you’ve made me watch that scares me and then this piece of crap, which did scare me for the first–
Jason Mantzoukas [00:03:59] What are you talking about? It scared you.
Jessica Sinclair [00:04:00] I don’t like it when the camera pans like it’s a man watching you. And also very scared to be going to sleep. And don’t make me bring up the story of when we were housesitting, when we were just 25. And you waited till I went to sleep after I watched a Lifetime movie called May I Take Your Order. Do you remember this?
Jason Mantzoukas [00:04:22] Of course I don’t. I don’t remember any of this. And also you watch something called May I Take Your Order?
Jessica Sinclair [00:04:29] Okay.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:04:30] A Lifetime movie? You’re telling me a Lifetime movie got you scared.
Jessica Sinclair [00:04:34] Quick digression.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:04:35] Oh, God.
Jessica Sinclair [00:04:36] We were on a plane–
Jason Mantzoukas [00:04:37] And by the way, that means very long digression.
Jessica Sinclair [00:04:40] We’re on a plane, Jason and I, a JetBlue plane to California when we were just a very young. I was young. You were old. And I was watching a Lifetime movie called May I Take Your Order in which somebody was abducting people who were working in like at a burger restaurant.
Paul Scheer [00:04:59] By the way, June just chimed in to say, Lifetime movies are scary, Jason.
Jessica Sinclair [00:05:02] Yes, they are. They play to exactly what we’re afraid of. At any rate, Jason said, Please do not watch this movie. You can’t handle it. And I said, Don’t tell me what I can or can’t do. I’m watching this movie. So then we go to the place, the creepy place that we were housesitting because we had no money. And you waited until I went to sleep because the guy in the movie would tie women up and then and then whisper to them, May I take your order? And so you waited till I fell asleep like a psycho crept into my room and whispered, May I take your order into my ear and scare the shit out of me?
Jason Mantzoukas [00:05:35] Yeah. Did you just bleep yourself?
Jessica Sinclair [00:05:37] Yes. In case kids are listening.
Paul Scheer [00:05:40] Yeah. Yeah. Kids do tune in for the big holiday episode. They think it’s the Hallmark family friendly podcast.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:05:47] Kids love it. And then suddenly we’re just talking about, like, you know, like absolute filth.
Jessica Sinclair [00:05:53] That’s right.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:05:54] You’re welcome, by the way.
Paul Scheer [00:05:55] June is very upset. She is wrote in all caps JASON.
Jessica Sinclair [00:05:58] That’s right.
Paul Scheer [00:05:59] I’ll be playing the part of June and me.
Jessica Sinclair [00:06:01] Great.
Paul Scheer [00:06:02] June also wanted to point out that lifetime does an entire genre of women killing men on Lifetime. It’s fascinating. But also lots of men killing women, too.
Jessica Sinclair [00:06:12] That’s right. So I don’t like it any time a camera is panning like a man is watching a woman sleep, that’s like my worst nightmare. There was a lot of that in the first 20 minutes.
Paul Scheer [00:06:21] Well, it’s interesting that you bring this up and you are kind of right, because this was originally a Lifetime movie that hallmark bought.
Jessica Sinclair [00:06:28] Makes perfect sense.
Paul Scheer [00:06:29] Yeah. So it’s a little bit of a mix of both. I think that Hallmark is so jonesing to like have 25 full Days of Christmas movies that they’re like, we’ll buy this one.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:06:39] They’re just acquiring and this was I will say this. This was boring. I found this, even though there’s like these wild supernatural elements to it. She goes to the inn, and both the ghost story and the romantic story are treated with absolute blasé attitude by every person involved.
Jessica Sinclair [00:07:01] That’s right.
Paul Scheer [00:07:01] It’s it’s an insane movie because I don’t even think I understand it. I rewound this movie multiple times. Like, I thought, what is going on? I mean, it’s a ghost story without the ghost.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:07:12] There’s like three ghosts. By the end of the movie, there’s three ghost?
Paul Scheer [00:07:17] Technically, two ghosts, one corporeal man.
Jessica Sinclair [00:07:21] Person. But then suddenly, at the end, everyone can see the other ghosts.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:07:26] Everybody can see all the ghosts all the time. Some ghosts can walk through walls, some ghosts don’t. The rules and even within the body of the movie, they keep having moments and scenes where people try and explain the rules and they say things like, the female lead at one point says to the guy, “There’s got to be some rules to this.” And I was like, Yes, let’s figure them out please.
Paul Scheer [00:07:48] By the way, they give up on even trying to explain it because at one point it feels like the movie goes meta and they’re like the curse is weird. Like this scene right here, it’s like–
Movie Audio [00:07:56] I’m no expert on curses, but this one seems weird. He’s a ghost, except for two weeks. Why did he insult a witch?
Jason Mantzoukas [00:08:03] Oh, classic.
Movie Audio [00:08:04] There are no witches. Oh, right. Because that would be crazy. Daniel doesn’t know the reason behind his situation.
Jessica Sinclair [00:08:10] And neither does the writer of this film.
Movie Audio [00:08:12] Five years ago for 12 days it was done the same each year ever since. And he can’t leave here. He’s restricted by the Inn’s property line. But there’s too many rules for this to be random. There has to be purpose behind it.
Jessica Sinclair [00:08:27] And we wish there was.
Paul Scheer [00:08:28] I agree. I would believe you if you told me an 11 year old wrote this script and like that’s the level of logic. But there is literally that seems like the transcript of a note session when the screenwriter has given it to someone else. Like but it doesn’t make any sense. Why can’t you go on the property line?
Jason Mantzoukas [00:08:44] And he’s corporeal for two weeks and then he’s this.
Jessica Sinclair [00:08:48] How many times are you guys going to use the word corporeal?
Jason Mantzoukas and Paul Scheer [00:08:51] So many times.
Jessica Sinclair [00:08:52] I’ve literally not heard that word ever in my life. I know it is a word, but I don’t want to hear it.
Paul Scheer [00:08:59] By the way, June said, but we can all agree that they had chemistry, right?
Jason Mantzoukas [00:09:04] What? No.
Jessica Sinclair [00:09:04] No.
Jessica Sinclair [00:09:07] This is a fetish. Is it? I think it’s a fetish of girls. It must be, to fuck a ghost. Right?
Jason Mantzoukas [00:09:13] Is it, though?
Jessica Sinclair [00:09:13] It must be.

Jessica Sinclair [00:09:18] Who was the ghost in Ghost? I never saw it.
Paul Scheer [00:09:20] Patrick Swayze.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:09:21] Yeah, but they were married.
Jessica Sinclair [00:09:22] People wanted to fuck that ghost.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:09:23] They’re a married couple. Their love is real. Like they’re married.
Paul Scheer [00:09:26] June has written “I have never fucked a ghost.”
Jessica Sinclair [00:09:27] But do you want to?
Paul Scheer [00:09:30] “But would love to. Unfortunately, but would love to.”
Jason Mantzoukas [00:09:34] How do you know?
Jessica Sinclair [00:09:34] Drop Dead Fred.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:09:35] Guys, ghosts could be fucking us all the time. Ghost could be fucking us all the time. We don’t know.
Paul Scheer [00:09:42] They fucked Dan Aykroyd or they give him a blowjob.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:09:44] Yes, I’m sure.
Paul Scheer [00:09:45] But this ghost is very sweet. I mean, they just kind of kiss. I mean, it is all about that one peck.
Jessica Sinclair [00:09:53] Fine that’s hot as hell.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:09:54] There is no sexual chemistry. Was this a Canadian movie? Is it possible this movie is Canadian?
Paul Scheer [00:10:00] No, but the actor is French Canadian. The lead actor.
Jessica Sinclair [00:10:04] We went to college with a lot of French Canadians.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:10:06] To me it had the chemistry of like Canada. Like it was without chemistry. Like there was no erotic.
Jessica Sinclair [00:10:12] No disrespect to our Canadian listeners.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:10:14] Oh, no disrespect to our–you know what, Canada? Get it together. Wear something sexier. Show us your dongs, Canada.
Jessica Sinclair [00:10:25] And do something with it.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:10:25] God damn it!
Jessica Sinclair [00:10:26] Stop being so fucking polite.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:10:28] Oh, yeah.
Paul Scheer [00:10:32] Let’s even get into the premise of it, which is our lead actor Kate. And I’m going to bring up June’s point right away here, which–.
Jessica Sinclair [00:10:40] She looks just like Debra Messing.
Paul Scheer [00:10:41] She’s does.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:10:42] She’s Messing-esque.
Paul Scheer [00:10:44] June says in these movies, every woman who works is considered a workaholic.
Jessica Sinclair [00:10:49] Yes.
Paul Scheer [00:10:50] I mean, she didn’t seem–first of all, I don’t think that they make you like her right away because they have this weird breakup scene where the guy is breaking up with her for being too businesslike. And then she’s like, “Oh, yeah.” I just feel like I don’t–I didn’t want to see this movie about these two characters at all. These felt like side characters.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:11:10] Yeah. It sets her up in this way that she’s, like, married to her job and because of her closed off nature, because she gives the guy this whole speech about every boyfriend who’s broken up with her, or she’s broken up with giving her some sort of reason why or moniker. Yeah, some sort of moniker. Said something to her that had stuck with her about how she’s unavailable romantically or emotionally. How she’s too difficult to, you know, whatever, whatever. And that that is what you’re supposed to believe is like she needs to, you know–
Jessica Sinclair [00:11:40] Heal something in herself.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:11:41] Break through this, I guess and it’s revealed later, it’s because of her parents divorce.
Paul Scheer [00:11:45] Wait a second. That was the most–.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:11:46] Because of her parents divorce?
Paul Scheer [00:11:49] Her parents divorce is the reason that she–
Jessica Sinclair [00:11:51] That’s not crazy that people could be traumatized.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:11:55] It’s not processed at all, though, like what happened during the parents divorce.
Paul Scheer [00:11:58] She goes I’m collateral damage.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:12:00] Collateral damage?
Jessica Sinclair [00:12:01] Now listen, Paul had obviously a very tragic childhood.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:12:05] And he’s figured it out.
Paul Scheer [00:12:06] I worked through it.
Jessica Sinclair [00:12:07] And he worked through it. And we know that. But you’re right. She does not learn anything.
Paul Scheer [00:12:13] June just wrote “Paul has issues.”.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:12:17] Paul does have– I mean listen. We’ve all got issues.
Paul Scheer [00:12:19] Yeah, pass the tissues.
Jessica Sinclair [00:12:21] If we’re talking about who has the most.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:12:23] Paul managed to figure out how to have a relationship.
Paul Scheer [00:12:28] How to find love and juggle work.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:12:29] He didn’t need to find a ghost to fuck.
Jessica Sinclair [00:12:32] I would.
Paul Scheer [00:12:33] And that ghost didn’t solve anything for her. That ghost doesn’t do anything.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:12:36] The ghost abandoned Lily at the end of the movie.
Jessica Sinclair [00:12:40] That’s tough.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:12:41] Like tough look for my girl, Lily, who’s waiting around for a hundred years, and he’s like, “Peace. See ya later.”.
Paul Scheer [00:12:47] But by the way, so she’s waiting around.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:12:49] He doesn’t have a Social Security number. How is he going to live is a real man. Imagine his life now. He lives as like an alien in the world now.
Paul Scheer [00:13:02] June says “Lily is not alone. She’s with her dead newborn.”.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:13:04] Oh, oh, savage.
Jessica Sinclair [00:13:08] Who’s taking care of that newborn?
Jessica Sinclair [00:13:12] Who? Ghost Lily is taking care of ghost Patrick the baby? Like what? And Patrick, the man is meanwhile fucking Kate in the real world just giving her the ghost biz.
Paul Scheer [00:13:19] But why is Lily even haunting the house?
Jason Mantzoukas [00:13:24] Why is Lily there?
Jessica Sinclair [00:13:26] She was giving him a gift. That final–I don’t know–eighth of the movie made no sense.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:13:32] You always split movies into eighths. You gotta. A lot people talk about movies in acts. Three acts. It’s a three act structure. You know, people talk about it in eighths now.
Paul Scheer [00:13:42] Yeah. Where is the eighth? Oh is that the final–
Jason Mantzoukas [00:13:43] You know that new screenwriting book, The Eighth Act. What is wrong with you?
Jessica Sinclair [00:13:49] Guys.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:13:50] Oh it had me at first eighth. The second and third eighth, I didn’t enjoy it all. Eighth number four, electric. The fifth eighth was not great. Sixth, eighth, terrific. Seventh eighth was actually terrible. The eighth, eighth really brought it home.
Jessica Sinclair [00:14:04] Okay. My point is, at the end, what Patrick says, “She’s given me a gift.” Which is to heal his anger, to be trapped there. Which, by the way, legit.
Paul Scheer [00:14:19] Where is he the other 350 days of the year?
Jessica Sinclair [00:14:24] In a nightmare that he never wakes from.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:14:25] Yeah, he’s in some sort of limbo state, I think.
Paul Scheer [00:14:28] So he is. But is he conscious or in just darkness?
Jason Mantzoukas [00:14:31] I would have loved to have seen that. I would have loved to have gotten a glimpse of whatever other side he exists in.
Paul Scheer [00:14:37] I know because it seems like–
Jason Mantzoukas [00:14:38] And have it be terrifying.
Paul Scheer [00:14:40] And by the way. It isn’t a witch that cursed him. It was just Patrick. But Patrick didn’t curse him either.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:14:47] No, Patrick is him.
Jessica Sinclair [00:14:48] Lily trapped him there, is what I think.
Jessica Sinclair [00:14:51] With her love?
Jessica Sinclair [00:14:51] No, because he needed to learn the lesson of like that, what really happened, she didn’t want him to cross over being pissed at her.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:15:03] Why wouldn’t he just find her there?
Jessica Sinclair [00:15:06] I don’t know what the rules are.
Paul Scheer [00:15:07] June says that she thinks he’s sleeping.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:15:09] Oh, God. What? The point of the movie is he never sleeps, June Oh, my God. This is wild.
Paul Scheer [00:15:16] Well, he never sleeps because he’s sleeping, like, for 350 plus days a year.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:15:19] I agree with Kate. It is weird when he stays in her room watching her sleep.
Paul Scheer [00:15:24] Oh, yeah.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:15:24] That was creep city.
Jessica Sinclair [00:15:26] But she, like, wanted it.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:15:27] Oh, she’s horny for it.
Jessica Sinclair [00:15:28] But then he, like, looks over his shoulder and goes, “Goodnight Kate”. Like he’s just going to be jerking it while she’s sleeping.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:15:35] He’s, like– is that like a fantasy for women that they want to be, like, watched while they sleep by a ghost man?
Paul Scheer [00:15:42] June says, “Admit it. It was sexy.”.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:15:45] What?
Jessica Sinclair [00:15:45] No, no, no.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:15:47] It was not sexy.
Jessica Sinclair [00:15:49] No.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:15:49] Nothing was sexy. Although Kate too, for a no nonsense lawyer from Boston, who is told repeatedly that there’s a ghost in the house.
Paul Scheer [00:15:57] Yeah.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:15:57] Over and over and over again, meets the ghost and does not believe it’s a ghost.
Paul Scheer [00:16:02] But here’s my thing. Who is the ghost that’s been scaring away–
Jason Mantzoukas [00:16:06] The cousin who killed him. The cousin who killed him.
Paul Scheer [00:16:10] The cousin doesn’t want the house to sell, why?
Jessica Sinclair [00:16:13] No, cousin Harry–
Paul Scheer [00:16:15] Doesn’t want the house to sell?
Jessica Sinclair [00:16:16] He’s just a scary ghost.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:16:19] He’s just a ghost, I believe.
Jessica Sinclair [00:16:21] He’s trapped there, he’s trapped in that netherworld.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:16:23] Because he murdered.
Paul Scheer [00:16:24] Okay.
Jessica Sinclair [00:16:24] And he doesn’t want to cross over for fear of judgement.
Paul Scheer [00:16:27] So Daniel has never scared a person coming in to price out the house?
Jason Mantzoukas [00:16:31] I believe not.
Paul Scheer [00:16:33] Okay. Because later on he goes, “You can come in.” But yet he–.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:16:36] Because Kate later says he’s the one that’s been scaring away everybody.
Jessica Sinclair [00:16:40] Cousin Harry?
Paul Scheer [00:16:41] Yeah, but why also, why does the innkeeper, who I’m also fascinated with.
Jessica Sinclair [00:16:46] He’s the scariest character.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:16:48] This motherfucker is– These movies, oftentimes, it’s like they want, like, a little small town, New England type of movie. They want it to feel like Stars Hollow, like populated by oddballs and weirdos. And the Inn is the local point, a focal point for all the weirdos. Every person, every town’s person in this movie is more boring than the last.
Paul Scheer [00:17:09] Oh, my gosh. I mean, he is so boring.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:17:12] His city.
Paul Scheer [00:17:14] I mean, there’s a little bit of community theater going on here.
Jessica Sinclair [00:17:18] I think they hire local.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:17:20] In where? In Canada?
Jessica Sinclair [00:17:22] Yes. I think some of those people are probably just in stage versions of Anne of Green Gables, of which I’ve seen many.
Paul Scheer [00:17:30] The brother literally looks out as if he’s playing to an audience. Like a community theater.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:17:36] When the brother and Lily in the fifth eighth of the movie are on the porch and he’s like, saying and he’s saying he’s not coming back. And she was saying, he said he’d be here by Christmas.
Paul Scheer [00:17:47] Yeah.
Jason Mantzoukas [00:17:47] He starts to touch her head and face.

She was the only person dressed up, but it looked like she had gone through her closet. “Oh, this skirt, this, and I’ll button it up.” And that’s what the people in this movie look like. I saw the whole thing.

This very angelic image of a woman above me. Now it’s something that’s always stuck out to me in my grand scheme of whatever. Like. One of the things that burnt into my head. Sure. Now, many years later, about four or five years ago, I am at this event with a regular person. And we got we start talking about–.

Paul Scheer [00:31:15] I guess I revealed that he was a regular person before. I, like, told you what he’s going to tell me.

I do feel like I see ghosts.” And I was like, Really? And he goes, “You saw Ghost when you were a kid.” And described the image to me.

Jason Mantzoukas [00:34:27] She assumes he’s a real person. You’ve just seen his picture. That’s what was weird to me, because either have him appear as a human being because he is again, he’s not like a specter in this instance of these 12 days. He’s a living, breathing human man. Let her discover him, assuming it’s a man and have to figure out he’s a ghost.

Jason Mantzoukas [00:34:47] But the reality is, if you see her see the picture and then see him side by side and then there’s newspaper clippings on the wall with pictures of him.
Paul Scheer [00:34:57] Or I thought oh okay. We’ve seen enough Scooby Doos to know that people hire people that look like– maybe he’s an actor they hired, you look a lot like him. Maybe the innkeeper doesn’t want people to–
Jason Mantzoukas [00:35:08] Sure. Maybe they’re trying to chase away people like they don’t. They don’t investigate. They don’t investigate at all. Everybody is so, “Oh, okay.” Everything is so slow.
Paul Scheer [00:35:20] It takes place in a world where ghosts exist. I mean, like, this is the scene where she talks to the innkeeper about the ghost.

It’s been a great season and I think you’ve already seen Jason and you’ve already seen me, but you may see us again as this thing wraps up and heads to its final completion. Maybe, maybe not. And if you are looking for something to listen to and you are maybe frustrated or excited by the rise of Skywalker, I will say this week on Unspooled, we were talking about Star Wars and we actually had the original editor of Star Wars on Unspooled this week, and it was fascinating to chat with him and if you missed it, a week ago we had Rian Johnson on the show and Rian Johnson gave his picks for movies that should be included on the AFI list and they’re great.
Jason Mantzoukas [01:12:35] Oh, I love that. I’ll give a shout out just for the sake of shouting out Star Wars related. Mallory Rubin and Jason Concepcion are doing Star Wars for this season of Binge Mode. And it’s fucking awesome. It is so good.
Paul Scheer [01:12:50] And I’ll also just give a shout out and I’m just really into this movie. But I love Uncut Gems, so go see that. It’s a great, great movie.

It’s a workbook, a practical workbook that can show you just how easy it is to run for office. And this is not June saying it, but is me saying it. You don’t have to run for the biggest offices.
