EP. 69 — Mano Agapion – Spotlight On: Marinetta Papahimona
Marissa and Listler welcome Marina del Rey’s resident mystic Marinetta Papahimona (Mano Agapaion) to predict their futures on another WOMP It Up! Marinetta discusses her craft and the friends she’s made in the dark arts before venting her frustration with her husband’s crazy ideas on “What’s Cheesing You?”. Then, we’ll find out why she cast a spell for Fergie during “Listler’s Love Lockdown,” and Marinetta reads everybody’s palms before revealing her true form during “Spotlight On.”

Surprise! Marissa and Listler are found hiding in a certain CELEBRITY podcast host’s guest house. The sheets are 700 thread count, the Nespresso pods are never ending and there are frozen Digiorno’s as far as the eye can see! Aukerman quickly gets over his anger and throws on the cans to join the girls for Hot Topix. Marissa demands back pay for her unpaid Comedy Bang Bang internship, and all hell breaks loose when they discover Scott’s secret wig closet, bizarre VHS collection and dangerous Seth Rogen obsession.

Marissa and Listler are back in the States, and hiding out in the back of a thrift store in Brooklyn, hosted by Listler’s old theatre friend Barry Miller (Jeff Hiller). Barry joins in for Hot Topix, and we learn a little more about his and Listler’s past, while Marissa breaks Barry down and builds him back up again for Spotlight On.

After a year of hiding out, Listler and Marissa commandeer the BBC’s Woman’s Hour to bring you an update from their safe-house inside a Jersey Mike’s meat cooler in Sicily, Italy. Listler explores Bitcoins and Charlize Theron in “Hot Topix”, and in “What’s Cheesin’ You” Marissa hashes out her thoughts on Listler’s string of relationships, and Listler shows Marissa how much she’s grown outside of the bubble of Marina Del Rey.
