And I have all these kind of theories that I talk about on this podcast via other experts or, you know, via my own findings about my own personal life, but it’s very rare that I can back it up with research because I left school at 16. So I went out and found an actual expert on the specific subject of happiness. His name is Professor Bruce Hood, a real life professor in a real life university, teaching real life students in real life courses. He’s a cognitive neuroscientist and a psychologist, and his work is all around the human mind, and particularly in this area of happiness in the last few years of his life, and he’s written a book called the science of happiness and he he takes it away from being this sort of ethereal elusive concept that we’re all trying to
