June is back in the U.S. of A. and in the true fashion of this pod, they do not have time for pleasantries! They confront Jessica’s issue with book clubs, facing mortality and why sometimes you can’t “positive” your way out of hard things. They then discuss wild things they have allowed both themselves and their nearest and dearest to do in the throes of grief, which may or may not involve trying to secretly buy a puppy off a stranger in a children’s park. Finally, Danielle Schneider (Bitch Sesh, Black Monday) joins to speak on her complicated journey with fertility and makes a claim that ROCKS the girls to their core.

This week Adam sits down with Tomas Lopez, executive director of Democracy North Carolina, a non-partisan organization that works to expand ballot access and protect voting rights in one of the most gerrymandered states in the country.
