This week Franklin chats with two screenwriters from the other side of the pond. First he sits down to chat with Abi Morgan, screenwriter of Suffragette, the story of Maud Watts played by Carey Mulligan, a working wife and mother whose life is changed forever by the growing suffragette movement in early 20th century Britain. Then, Franklin chats with Alex Garland, the writer/director of A24 Film’s April release Ex Machina starring Domhnall Gleeson, Oscar Isaac and Alicia Vikander.
