Billy Scafuri

Billy is a writer and performer based in New York City. He has written for, and appeared on, various TV shows and commercials. His credits include ESPN, Sports Illustrated, ABC, PBS, Sesame Street, The G4 Network, BMW, Sobe, Pepsi and many more delicious soft drink commercials.

Billy can be seen performing with his award winning sketch comedy group, Harvard Sailing Team. HST won “Best Sketch Comedy Team” at the ECNY Awards and was named the “Kings of Dot Comedy” on Attack of the Show. They have headlined the National College Comedy Festival twice, Second City Toronto and many other national festivals.

After winning Season 1 of the UCB Freestyle Rap Battle, The Beatdown, Billy co-created the comedy rap group, Snakes. Snakes has received critical praise from Time Out NY, The Onion, CNN, the BCC and many other outlets. In the past year Snakes have released their debut comedy rap album, been nominated for an ECNY award, maintained a monthly residence at UCB, performed in the NY Comedy Festival and released an economics rap video, “Fear the Boom and Bust,” seen by over 1 million people.
