Johnny Meeks
Johnny Meeks co-wrote and starred in the film Alleyball, winner “Best Feature” of both the SoCal Independent Film Festival and the New York Independent Features Festival. Television credits include Modern Family, Adult Swim’s NTSF:SD:SUV::, Lopez Tonight, Spike TV’s Players, HBO Funny or Die Presents and Talkshow with Spike Feresten. Johnny began his career in Washington DC where he founded The Control Group, a sketch and improv company. He also performed at the Folger Shakespeare Theater among others. Meeks has been performing improvisational and sketch comedy at UCBTLA since 2005. He’s a member of Sentimental Lady, and is an improv teacher at the UCB training center. He has appeared in many shows including Asssscat, Soundtrack, ROUGH CUT: The improvised movie and Sketch Cram.
