The F Plus
The F Plus is a group made up of a dozen or so people who live in various parts of North America and refer to each other by absurd pseudonyms. It’s a big group that sometimes thinks of itself like a “family”, and like any dysfunctional family that drinks, the real bond that keeps them together is a shared sense of hostility thinly masked in humorous asides and derision. Fortunately, reading things on the internet has proven to be a helpful outlet for these impulses.

Given the success of podcasts like Superego, The Pod F. Tompkast, and The Thrilling Adventure Hour, we asked our contestants to try writing and performing sketches. In today’s coaching session you’ll hear what Matt, a venerable sketch comedy innovator, thinks of the popularity of “meta sketches” and what advice he has for all the non-sketch competitors. See who comes out on top tomorrow when Matt is joined by Tig Notaro and Seth Morris.
