This week Jenna and Angela interview Mike Schur! Mike Schur wrote on the first four seasons of “The Office” and played Dwight’s mysterious cousin, Mose Schrute. Mike also worked on “Saturday Night Live” and created shows like “Parks and Recreation”, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”, “The Good Place” and “Rutherford Falls”. Angela talks with Mike about a scene where she slapped him so hard he spun, Jenna and Mike talk about the difference between acting on a TV show vs a movie, and of course, Mike talks about his love/hate relationship with playing the character of Mose. The ladies break down why this episode needed “special business performers”, Angela reveals some epic volleyball moves and Jenna shares how the big Season 5 finale news was kept under wraps. This is the first “Office” episode directed by Steve Carell. The ladies help a fan clarify what Michael yells when pranking Ryan, Jenna simplifies the difference between fixed-costs vs variable-costs and Angela shares a deleted scene about Charles Miner that will make you gasp!
